Luming Future Community
Location: Quzhou, Zhejiang Province, China
Project Type: Apartment Furniture
As a second-batch Future Community pilot in Zhejiang, Quzhou Luming Future Community is built on a “water-greenway + multi-level parks” framework, forming an open community that integrates maker spaces, residences, and commerce. Its fully-furnished delivery standard and green building technologies presented a dual challenge for commercial furniture procurement: how to achieve deep integration of spatial aesthetics and functional scenarios while meeting stringent environmental benchmarks.
Xiangshi Furniture Group anchored its approach in human-centered design. By rigorously selecting imported AA-grade rubber wood with zero formaldehyde additives and anti-rust, corrosion-resistant brand hardware, a healthy material foundation was established. A minimalist design language echoes the community's “light and transparent” architectural aesthetic, ultimately striking a triple balance between sustainability, comfort, and scenario-based adaptability. This embodies the symbiotic philosophy of “space – furniture – people” for future communities.

Living Room: The Integrated Life Hub
An open living-dining layout reconfigures social interaction through furniture arrangement, dissolving rigid functional boundaries to create a central gathering space for family and guests.
The sofa's solid wood frame is finished with rounded-edge polishing for safety. Wide armrests and high-resilience foam cushions provide lasting comfort and support, while the skin-friendly fabric ensures breathability and eco-friendliness.
The coffee table features an imported stone slab top that is stain-resistant and easy to clean. A hidden storage drawer and high-load-bearing carbon steel frame meet daily needs while clean lines enhance spatial order.

The TV cabinet, crafted from rounded rubber wood, incorporates recessed handles to prevent snagging. Pre-set cable ports and hidden management channels keep wires neatly organized for a clean visual.
Bedroom: The Private Sanctuary for Rest
The bedroom prioritizes comfort through warm material textures and logical storage, creating a detailed and accessible experience.
The bed frame uses a scientific layout of 13 support slats, 6 posts, and 3 central beams, combined with closely-spaced slats for superior load-bearing and anti-sag performance, ensuring deeply restful sleep.
The wardrobe applies the “80/20 principle” to balance open and closed storage. Built-in aluminum alloy hanging rods accommodate all garment lengths. The raised base protects contents from floor moisture.

Entryway: Reordering the Homecoming Ritual
Designed around daily movement, the entryway transforms routine into ritual through enhanced storage and thoughtful details.
The shoe cabinet offers a 32cm depth for large footwear and a surface for daily items. Handle-less cabinet doors feature a gentle beveled edge for effortless, elegant access.

Xiangshi Furniture Group consistently places people at the core. Through a three-dimensional upgrade in material health, scenario-based design, and humanized functionality, we translate Luming Community's “green and humanistic” vision into a tangible spatial language.
Here, furniture transcends mere objecthood, becoming a narrative medium that carries life's warmth, guides habits, and enriches spatial memory. When sustainability forms the foundation and function returns to its essence, the ideal relationship between people and space naturally flourishes.
