Som en nationalt anerkendt "Double First-Class" universitet er Beijing Institute of Technology's Zhuhai Campus dedikeret til en "innovativ, international og helhedsorienteret" uddannelsesmetode, der uddanner alsidige talenter med både akademisk excellence og praktiske evner.

Som entreprenør for renoveringsprojektet af elevværelser og offentlige områder følgte Xiangshi Furniture Group en kernefilosofi om »økologisk venlighed og sundhed kommer først«. I tæt overensstemmelse med campuskonteksten blev al handelsmæssig møbelindretning udviklet ud fra tre nøglestandarder: miljøsikkerhed, holdbarhed og komfort. Fra materialevalg til funktionsdesign fulgte processen en menneskecentreret logik med det formål at skabe campusområder, der understøtter både behageligt bo og aktiv læring.

Værelsesområde: Balance mellem miljøvenlige materialer og rumlig effektivitet
Da værelset er elevernes primære livsmiljø, blev det designet med fokus på holdbarhed og rumlig effektivitet som nøgleord for at skabe et sikkert og praktisk »andet hjem«.

Alt kollegiefurniture bruger E0-klasse miljøvenlige plader, der overholder de nye nationale standarder, og eliminerer således risici fra skadelige stoffer som formaldehyd fra kilden. Tømmer-hvide farvekombinationen på skabe, skriveborde og sengestel kan tilføje en hyggelig varme til det sikre miljø.

Hver sengsplads har en tredimensionel layout, der integrerer loftsseng + skrivebord + skab + åbne reoler. Skabet med dobbelt dør har indvendige inddelinger til hængning og opfoldet opbevaring, samt et nederdelsrum til kufferter og sæsonbestemte genstande. Flere lag reoler over skrivebordet danner et effektivt studiehjørne og opnår en vertikal integration af funktioner til studier, opbevaring og hvile.

Skuffehåndtag og skabhårdvar er udvalgt fra topmærker og er testet for mere end 100.000 åbnings- og lukkecykluser, med korrosions- og rustmodstand, der lever op til branchens førende standarder – og forlænger møbellevetid gennem detaljeorienteret design.

Offentlige områder: Aktivering af sociale rum med et "grænseoverskridende læring"-koncept
For offentlige rum såsom seminarlokaler, studiehaller, aktivitetszoner og diskussionslounger udviklede Xiangshi fleksible og tilpasningsdygtige moduler baseret på elevernes fulde vifte af behov relateret til læring – socialisering – hvile.

Seminarlokaler er centreret omkring lange borde og flytbare stole, suppleret af whiteboard- og reolskillemoduler for at understøtte dynamiske samarbejdsscenarier såsom gruppediskussioner, brainstorming og projektfremstillinger – og dermed forbedre både samarbejdseffektivitet og rumlig komfort.

The wood-and-white color scheme of wardrobe, desks, and bed frames adds a homely warmth to the secure environment.  Each bed space features a three-dimensional layout integrating loft bed + study desk + wardrobe + open shelving. Menneskecentreret design: Møbler som en usynlig "vækstpartner"
Fra økologisk sikker beskyttelse i kollegier til scenariebaseret tilpasning i offentlige områder sætter Xiangshi altid menneskelige behov i centrum for designet. I projektet BIT Zhuhai Campus leverede Xiangshi ikke kun møbler, der opfylder de højeste nationale øko-standarder, men sikrede også gennem dybdegående indsigt i studerendes livsstil og studievaner, at hvert produkt udgør en forening af funktion og varme.

Fremadrettet vil Xiangshi fortsat prioritere bæredygtighed, holdbarhed og humanisering og levere flere menneskecentrerede løsninger til erhvervsmøbler til universiteter og offentlige rum – hvor design virkelig understøtter menneskelig vækst og udvikling.
