Som en nasjonal «Double First-Class»-universitet er Beijing Institute of Technology sitt Zhuhai-campus forpliktet på en «innovativ, internasjonal og helhetlig» utdanningsmetode, og arbeider med å utvikle allsidige talenter med både akademisk excellens og praktiske ferdigheter.

Som entreprenør for prosjektet med renovering av studentboliger og fellesarealer, fulgte Xiangshi Furniture Group en kjerneleggende designfilosofi der «økologisk holdbarhet og helse kommer først». I nært samarbeid med campus-konteksten ble all kommersiell møbelinnredning utviklet basert på tre hovedstandarder: miljøsikkerhet, holdbarhet og komfort. Fra materialevalg til funksjonelt design fulgte prosessen en menneskeorientert logikk, med mål om å skape campus-rom som støtter både behagelig bolig og engasjert læring.

Boligområde: Balansere miljøvennlige materialer med romlig effektivitet
Som det viktigste boforholdet for studenter, ble studentboligen utformet med fokus på holdbarhet og romlig effektivitet, og har dermed skapt et trygt og praktisk «andre hjem».

Allt sovesalsmøbelbruker E0-kvalitet miljøvennlige plater i samsvar med de nye nasjonale standardene, noe som eliminerer risiko fra skadelige stoffer som formaldehyd fra kilden. Trehvit fargekombinasjon på kleskap, skrivebord og sengestell gir en hjemlig varme til det sikre miljøet.

Hver sengsplass har en tredimensjonal oppdeling som integrerer loftsseng + skrivebord + kleskap + åpne hyller. Kleskappet med dobbelt dør har interne inndelinger for hengende og brettet lagring, med et nederste rom for kufferter og sesongvare. Flere hyllelag over skrivebordet danner et effektivt studiehjørne, og oppnår vertikal integrering av funksjoner for studier, oppbevaring og hvile.

Skuffe- og kleskaphardware er valgt fra toppmerker og testet for over 100 000 åpne- og lukkesykluser, med korrosjons- og rustmotstand i tråd med bransjens ledende standarder – og forlenger møbellevetid gjennom detaljorientert design.

Offentlige områder: Aktivering av sosiale plasser med et «grenseløst læring»-konsept
For offentlige områder som seminarrom, studiehall, aktivitetssoner og diskusjonslounger, utviklet Xiangshi fleksible og tilpasselige moduler basert på studenters fulle spekter av behov knyttet til læring – sosialt samvær – hvile.

Seminarrom er organisert rundt lange bord og bevegelige stoler, supplert med whiteboard- og hylledelte skillemoduler for å støtte dynamiske samarbeidsscenarier som gruppediskusjoner, brainstorming og prosjektpresentasjoner – noe som øker både samarbeidseffektivitet og romlig komfort.

Menneskesentrert design: Møbler som en usynlig "vekstpartner"
Fra økosikker beskyttelse i studentboliger til scenariobasert tilpasning i offentlige områder, setter Xiangshi alltid menneskelige behov i sentrum av designet. I prosjektet for BITs campus i Zhuhai leverte Xiangshi ikke bare møbler som oppfyller de høyeste nasjonale økostandardene, men sikret også gjennom dyp innsikt i studenters livsstil og studievaner at hvert produkt kroppsgjør en sammensmelting av funksjonalitet og varme.

Videre vil Xiangshi fortsette å prioritere bærekraft, holdbarhet og menneskelighet og levere flere menneskesentrale løsninger innen kommersiell møbel for universiteter og offentlige steder – der design virkelig støtter menneskelig vekst og utvikling.
